Kuta beach on Bali
Kuta Beach is one of the most famous resorts in Southeast Asia and Indonesia, which every year attracts millions of tourists. What once upon a time was a small coastal fishing village, the modern Kuta is one of the world’s famous tourist centres where five-star hotels neighbour home-stays, where tanned Australian surfers rush through the narrow streets towards the ocean to catch the wave, and where dozens of restaurants serve splendid meals from many of the world’s cuisines. Kuta’s sandy beach, the real Mecca for surfers from around the world, is the 5 miles stretch along the ocean which connects on the northern side to the Legian and Seminyak beaches and to many neighbouring villages, all of which have long united into one huge Kuta district dedicated to tourism.
Legian Street (Jl. Legian) – the central artery of Kuta-Legian district. Hundreds of shops, restaurants, nightclubs and tattoo parlours open their doors every day to thousands of tourists. The goods and entertainment available here will suit every taste – from clothing and jewellery from the world’s famous brands and fashion designers at ridiculously low prices, to the local products made with pleasantly surprising quality and creativity. After all, there is a reason why Indonesia has such a big name in the world for its textile industry!
In Kuta is also located really nice aqua park Waterboom where you and your kids will be happy to spend couple of hot tropical days drifting in “lazy river”.
